The Energy Roundtable held its second Vancouver conference in June of 2011 on the theme Clean Technology as an Engine of Economic Growth. The event highlighted the significant global opportunities that exist in the clean technology sector. British Columbia has an opportunity to develop a leadership position in an industry that will experience exponential rates of growth in the coming years. A coordinated strategy between government and industry that promotes the BC cleantech sector would yield significant benefit to the province and its citizens. The VER's goal was to assist in the  development of this strategy.
