The seventh annual Energy Roundtable conference will take place on October 5th in Calgary, Canada on the theme “A sustainable energy future”.
The conference will gather one hundred and fifty representatives from Canada and abroad for discussions on the business climate that is required to attract investment in new production, technologies and infrastructure into Canada’s massive energy sector.
The Energy Roundtable is a private-sector forum founded in 2004 by the Canada Europe Roundtable for Business, a transatlantic CEO advocacy group, to organize high-level, thematic conferences that facilitate investment in the Canadian energy sector.
The principal goal of the event is to generate discussion amongst the key players in the Canadian energy sector on how the country and its industry will meet its ambition to become a clean energy powerhouse. The conference capitalizes on the link between Calgary and London, as energy producing and finance centres with a strong history of economic cooperation.
